Towering Pine If you follow a trail from the IndigoClan camp, you will eventually end up at this enormous pine tree. It is a very well-hidden place, hard for cats of different Clans to find unless accompanied by someone who knows the area. Just as you approach the tree, which towers above all the others in the forest, the path twists inward creating a large spiral around the tree. Voles are often found nesting in the roots of the tree. |

Rockfall Clearing Here, the dominating pine trees break open here, and in the middle is a large pond that holds some fish - but not many, and IndigoClan cats aren't exactly the most enthusiastic swimmers. At the east and north edges of this clearing is a small cliff about five or six cat-lengths high, and can be climbed by jumping between the ledges jutting out of the sides. At the top is a breathtaking view of all IndigoClan's territory. But although this place is beautiful, the landslides that happen here are particularly deadly and so apprentices are forbidden to go here without a warrior. Birds love this area as well as mice and squirrels. Moderator: Kuri xx |

Mingled Forest This is where PaleClan's peaceful territory meets IndigoClan's dark and mysterious land. This place is called the Mingled Forest for a good reason, for it's here that oak, maple and spruce trees mix in with the usual pine. Apprentices are often excited to see the different kinds of trees and birds that live here. It is a very plentiful place to hunt, although the lack of undergrowth in IndigoClan territory plus the fact that this place does not have the shadowy cover that most IndigoClanners are used to makes it harder to stalk prey. Twilight Reaches This is by far the darkest place in IndigoClan, so dark that even at sunhigh it seems like night. Indeed, it seems very obvious how this place was names: it seems to be shrouded in perpetual twilight, and that's what most IndigoClan cats believe today. But there is an elder's legend about an old, wise loner - named Twilight - who made his den there long ago. He helped the Clan get to know the spooky forest, and in return they named the heart of the forest in his honor. Either way, the trees are so dense here that it is easy to get lost and never come back. Most cats only come here if absolutely necessary, because not much prey is to be found here.
